When we depart in the morning, we will head out to the fishing grounds in the Pamlico Sound. When the weather permits, we’ll venture through the inlet to the ocean. You will experience the best that fishing has to offer here, along the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

The Pamlico Sound sits between Cape Hatteras and the mainland of North Carolina. A beautiful place to angle for sport fishing and dining pleasure. Here we will work to help you get a great catch of fish for supper or to take home. This can include Red and Black Drum, Gray Trout/Weakfish, Speckled Trout/Spotted Sea Trout, Flounder, Cobia, Spanish Mackeral, Albacore, or Blue fish.
Opportunities to do some inshore light tackle fishing with excellent quality rods and reels. For a new adventure, you may be interested in trying to bow fish. Also the nighttime gigging for flounder is excellent and a different experience to enjoy.
The Pamlico Sound off of Cape Hatteras and the Outer Banks provides one of the best places to do flats fishing for Red Drum and Spotted Trout.

When the weather permits, the Black Pearl will venture through Hatteras Inlet to the ocean to fish near shore for Spanish Mackeral, Cobia, Blue fish, and Albacore..
Clam Digging
If you’d prefer to get in the water, you can check out our clam digging. A great way to cool off in the water on a hot day. A great way to spend an July and August inlet adventure. We start with clamming then shelling and swimming at the various sand islands. The Hatteras inlet’s tidal changes offers various opportunities to find prized shells, and to swim in the current our inlet has to offer with the clean Caribbean blue waters. And if we have time, maybe some fishing. We also see plenty of marine life like sea turtles and porpoises.
