River and I went looking yesterday for something a shrimper told me about and we found it, but the bass weren’t very big! Today I made a super long ride and as I was pulling up here come swirly. Right dead on my numbers!!!!!! I think he been on the pink Pathfinder at night looking at my garmin! Anyways, today was a first for me.. we caught a king mackeral in the pamlico sound. Even the f/v hook-up hasn’t done that yet!!! If anyone has a leed on some jigs like this pink one I’d love too buy em! #pinkboat #pink

We did alotta riding today! But we caught em! I think gannet eyes stayed in Barney’s hoping for a bite, we are now liscensed and insured with tow boat if pathfinders, need assistance. #TeamUSA

The Yamaha just wouldn’t cut it when gannet eyes ran her into the bush’s today! A few Yamahas tried to pull the pathfinder off but they just couldn’t cut it. In come the heavy artillery V8,, And we snatched Ol hang on off like a lizard fish across the free agents fishbox! On the other end Jase wins the award for my happiest customer I’ve had all year. He wanted a shark, and when that rod bent over his smile was as big as the fish was long. I hope swirley new boat is as strong as this pathfinder so he can run her to the other side!

It’s been alotta fish fries the last two days…. There’s not been much action close to home so we have had too make some extra long runs, I showed up today on the 925, and the 418 and swirly was in my spot! I thought I was gonna have to buff out that grey paint! #crossing #longride

We’ve caught a few fish this week but it’s been a little slow. I ain’t gonna sugar coat it. With today’s calm seas and light winds I we decided too go check out the Neuse river triggerfish bite I’ve been hearing about. I made the crossing this morning and couldn’t believe it when I pulled up too my first rockpile 39 miles from home. A massive bottom mark and we went to work. It was pretty good fishing a B-liner also made the ride back with us. I took the ocean home and stopped at the east wall for some kings, when I got back to hatteras Swirley was in Barney’s slough…. Maybe he will make the crossing tomorrow . #Pink #offshoreboat

Inshore, nearshore, offshore we do it all!! Blues, Spanish, drum, amberjacks, and Mahi!!! I took a great picture of Capt. As big eye would say we’ve been scrapping along…. As good as our trout fishing once was I feel blessed to even catch one nowadays, but mark found a unicorn in the rain! A few drum and blues rounded out the week.
